Justin "J.J." William Madden, 18, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2015. He was born on October 4, 1996, the son of Jeffrey William Madden and Jennifer Lynn (Fish) Madden.
Justin was a senior at Harper Creek High School and formerly attended Lakeview Schools. Justin was active in sports and played football, baseball and floor hockey.
Justin is survived by his Parents: Jeffrey Madden and Jennifer (Jason Kasten) Madden; Brother: Jack Madden of Battle Creek, MI; Step-Sisters: Ashley Kasten of Battle Creek, MI, Hannah Kasten of Battle Creek, MI and Madison Kasten of Battle Creek, MI; Grandparents: Michael & Linda Fish of Battle Creek, MI and Dan & Elaine Madden of Arizona; Grandmother: Kathy McDonald of Battle Creek, MI; Grandfather: Scott McDonald of Battle Creek, MI; Great-Grandparents: Jack & Donna Gray of Battle Creek, MI; Great-Grandmother: Jeanette Madden of Grand Blanc, MI; Uncle: Ryan Fish of Battle Creek, MI; Aunt: Stephanie (Kent) Kehler of Kentucky; Numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.
Justin enjoyed fishing, video games, disc golf, his dogs Lulu & Alle. He loved spending time with his friends and family. Justin was a member of First Wesleyan Church.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday April 23, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
