Obituary for Tammy Lee Wensch

Tammy Lee Wensch, 48, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 15, 1968, the daughter of James Wensch and Melodee S. Church.
She was employed at Kellogg's since 2013.
Tammy is survived by her Husband, Bill Thompson of Battle Creek, MI; Mother, Melodee (Tom Mallers) Church; Daughter, Ashley (Joe) Bolton of Orland Park, IL; three Sons, Justin Avey of Ft. Meyers, FL, Mitchell (Lauren) Avey of Sarasota, FL, Cody Avey of Battle Creek, MI; two Step-Sons, Mitchell Thompson of Battle Creek, MI, Joseph Thompson of Battle Creek, MI; three Grandchildren, Parker Bolton, Max Bolton, and Liam Avey; Sister, Teresa (Thomas) Bateman of Yorkville, IL. She was preceded in death by her Father, James Wensch.
Tammy enjoyed crafts and was considered the "craft queen." She loved baking, sewing, quilting and refinishing furniture. Tammy had a heart of gold, an infectious sense of humor, and a laugh that filled a room. She also took great pride in volunteering on behalf of at risk children through the Yorkville chapter of CASA."Tammy was an amazing organizer and event planner and the life to all gatherings.
