Obituary for Geneva Kathryn Buhl

Geneva Kathryn Buhl, 91, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on December 31, 1925, the daughter of Jessie and Ellen (Burk) Foraker.
Geneva worked a few different jobs from meat cutter to upholsterer and seamstress in the Battle Creek area.
Geneva is survived by her two daughters, Brenda (Philip) Brown, Loretta (Scott) Simmonds; three sons, Dennis Jordan, Timothy (Deb) Jordan, and Jeffrey (Linda) Jordan; grandchildren, Becky, Elizabeth, Emily, Timmy, Scott, Michael, Craig, Katie, Christopher, Jade, and Aaron; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Lonnie (Sharon) Foraker; sister, Imogene (Sammy) Smith; former husband, Albert Jordan and host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Pansy, Bud, Mary, Ellen Louise, Tommy and husband, Jerry Buhl.
Geneva enjoyed staying busy. She adored her family and was very active in the kids activities during and after school. She loved to garden, she had the biggest garden of flowers and fruits and vegetables. She loved to can her foods with her kids and teach them all the domestic activities. She also enjoyed crocheting and cooking. Geneva was a very crafty woman with a heart of gold. Her memories will be cherished by all those she leaves behind.
