Obituary for Rosalee Redden

Rosalee Redden, 84, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 9, 2017 at her home. She was born on December 8, 1932, the daughter of Johnny Grant and Reola (Hall) Grant.
Rosalee was raised in Mississippi and moved to Battle Creek in 1948. She was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and was a machine operator for Eaton Mfg. for over 10 years. She previously was an aid at Community Mental Health for 8 years and a hairdresser at Ferrari's for many years.
Rosalee is survived by her Son, Arthur Broadus of Battle Creek, MI; Brother, Henry Blakemore of Chicago, IL; 5 Grandchildren, Kameaka, Marye, Lareece, Stacy & Broada; 15 Great Grandchildren, 17 Great-Great Grandchildren Friends, Derrick Foster and Stephonia Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband, Edward Redden, Sons, Thomas Broadus, Larry Broadus and Robert Broadus, Brother, Robert Blakemore, Sisters Ophelia Tucker and Mary Henry.
Rosalee enjoyed walking, playing cards, gardening, crocheting, traveling, reading, puzzles, singing, cooking for her family and loved visiting with her friends and family.She was a member of the Second Baptist Church where she was very active.
