Obituary for Belinda Louise Armstrong (Broughton)
Belinda Louise (Broughton) Armstrong, 58, of Lansing, Michigan, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. She was born on August 20, 1959, the middle child of Edward and Jean (Patton) Broughton.
Belinda loved living her life with people and laughter. She enjoyed interior decorating and could make any house into a beautiful home. Belinda had the type of heart and spirit that needed to help people in all walks of life. She would give her last to anyone who asked. Whether you met her once or knew her a lifetime, you never forgot her. She adored her kids and her grandchildren brought her infinite joy.
Belinda was preceded in death by her grandma Naomi Scott and her mother Jean Broughton. Surviving are her 3rd grade sweetheart and her Husband of 27 years - Joe Armstrong of Lansing, Michigan; four Daughters, Tarina (Torlando) Ellis, Kemica (Byron) Parker, Alisia Armstrong, and Barbara Armstrong; six Sons, Michael Dustin Armstrong, Keto Armstrong, Michael Robert Armstrong, Tre'von Armstrong, Christopher Armstrong, and Dominique Armstrong; Grandchildren, India, Brenden, Taliyah, Jazmyn, Jaiden, Andres, Giselle, Eli, Alejandro, Jeremiah, Jordan, Ke'Air, and Ka'Leeya; Father, Edward Broughton; Brother, Bruce Broughton; Sister, Bridgette Broughton; Aunts Anna Jackson and Gloria Beavers and a host of nieces, nephews, "favorite cousins", and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 11:30 am.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
