Martin Charles Miller (Marty), 94, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Calhoun County Medical Center. He was born July 6,1924, in Burlington, MI. Martin is survived by his wife of 69 years, Flora Katherine Miller; sons, Daniel (Cara), Michael (Deborah), Edward (Terri); and daughter, Laura (John); 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

For many years, Martin worked in the local area as a private contractor and as a brick/stone mason. He loved the game of golf and enjoyed playing his guitar.

To honor Martin’s service to his country as a U.S. Marine who served in WWII, a private full military-honors ceremony and internment will take place Monday, August 20, 2018, at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
