George Dorian Williams, 64, departed this life on September 4, 2018, in Alma, Michigan. George was born November 6, 1953, in Hamilton, Ohio to Henry and Betty Williams. He attended Battle Creek Central High School. He was employed by Griffin Janitorial Service, Leila Hospital, doing janitorial work for years. George was also employed at Tommy and Company, and Soul D Out. George was an avid barbecue griller he was well known as “Hot Sauce Williams” his ribs were some of the best! George also never missed a family gathering he was always getting in the car with somebody,or he would be riding his “Cadillac” through town. George loved spending time with his family and friends. Brothers: Gregory Williams of Battle Creek, MI., Phillip(Marvis) Williams of Surprise, AZ., Sisters: Sharon (Larry) Bridges of Climax, MI., Judy (David) Freeman of Battle Creek MI., Janet (Richard) Cummings of Lansing MI., Special Mother Lucille Johnson of Battle Creek, MI., Special Families: Johnson Family, Wilson Family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. George was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Henry “Hank” Williams, Nelson Alan Williams.

Visitation for George Williams will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 6-8pm at Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 12:00pm in the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
