Teresa Sue Davis, 48, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. She was born on August 19, 1966, the daughter of William Eugene Crippen and Marlene Kay (Sanford) Crippen.
Teresa graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1984. She attended Kellogg Community College where she studied business.
Teresa is survived by her two sons, Dillon and Kyle Davis; sister, Debbie Crippen; brother, Jeff Crippen; life partner, Earl Butchbaker; niece, Natalie (Josh) Servis and her special pet, Buddy. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kerry Crippen.
Teresa was a people person, always very interested in peoples lives and what she could do to help them. She was a fiercely loyal woman who enjoyed going to the casino and traveling. Her family was her world and she loved to spend her time with them. Teresa would give them anything and go without just so others could prosper.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Monday, August 3, 2015, at 1:00 pm.
Interment will take place in Newbre Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
