Linda Derrick, 62, of Fairview, Michigan, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot in Alma. She was born on September 28, 1953, the daughter of Jerome B. Hudon and Marye K. (Rogers) Davis.
Linda is survived by her husband of 44 years - Kirk A. Derrick of Fairview, Michigan; daughter, Christine E. Derrick of Kalamazoo, MI; son, Timothy B. Derrick of Marshall, MI; two sisters, Mary A. (George) Climer of Battle Creek, MI, Nancy K. Hatmaker of Battle Creek, MI; brother, Jerome T. (Phyllis) Hudon of Battle Creek, MI; two grandsons, Jordan Pacillo of Kalamazoo, MI, Cayden Brown of Kalamazoo, MI; granddaughter, Alexis Ward of Royal Oak, MI; Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome B Hudon, mother, Marye K Davis.
Linda thoroughly enjoyed hummingbird bird watching as well as long walks in the woods. She enjoyed long rides to see the scenery, especially trips to Mackinaw Island. She was a knitter making blankets for many family members. Linda was an avid Barry Manilow fan.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on January 18 from to 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM .
