Robert Lee Swayzer, 78, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at his home. He was born on December 16, 1937, the son of John Edward Swayzer and Idella (Williams) Parnell.

Bob is survived by his Three Daughters, Robin (Maurice) Swayzer-Crowley of Kalamazoo, MI, Brenda (James) Swayzer-Shields of Lincoln, CA, Lorena (Rodolfo) DelaCruz; Two Sisters, Minnnie Lee Swayzer of Battle Creek, MI, Carolyn O'Bryant of Florissant, MO; Brother, Keith Swayzer of Seattle, WA. Additionally he left behind 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Won Suk Swayzer, Father, John Edward Swayzer, Mother, Idella Parnell and sister Pamela Taylor.
Robert was a loving, sweet man and a great uncle. He was a strong motivator and role model. He inspired many that followed to better thermselves by service to their country. Bob had a wonderful relationship with his great grandchildren encouraging them to the end. He was loved by many..
