Charlene Cook, 56, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at home. She was born on October 10, 1959, the daughter of Clifford and Sharon (Huff) Pombier.
Charlie is survived by her Husband of 36 years - Richard William Cook of Battle Creek, Michigan; two sons, Joseph Edward Cook of Battle Creek and Chad Alan Cook of Battle Creek, MI; eight sisters, Jackie L (Craig) Fox of Jackson, Debra S (David) Currie of Albion, Catherine A (David) Roe of Albion, Cindy Parker of Jackson, Treasa (Tony) Morrow of WA, Tammy (Bill) Davis of GA, Michelle (Rick) Richards of Albion, Melissa Pombier of Battle Creek; Granddaughter, Janie Espinosa of Battle Creek; Great Grandson, Noah Stephens of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Pombier, father, Clifford Pombier, mother, Sharon Pombier and cousin, Luann (Lucy) Church.
Charlie's (Ethel) most favorite thing to do was to bake and teach all three of the men how to cook. Christmas time was a real treat at the Cook family house. She loved to shop, including garage sales and other bargain shopping. Her relaxing included loving the sun and beaches.
