Florence Luella Burkhead, 94, of Delton, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. She was born on April 20, 1922, the daughter of Clifford Holcomb and Bertha Holcomb.
Florence graduated from Seventh-Day Adventist School in Battle Creek.
Florence is survived by her two Daughters, Gail (Jim) Walmer and Vonda (Tom) Moody; Sister, Rosemary Walmer; Brother, Larry Holcomb and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Florence enjoyed cooking for her family and sewing. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date.
