Condolence: Roxanne,
I knew you a long time ago. We moved to Battle Creek and lived down the street from you on Marjorie St. You lived on Post Ave, on the corner. You were a year older than I was.
You had special challenges in life. My little sisters, you and I would sit on the opposite corner from your house and play cats cradle -- which you were very good at. We would play and talk, sitting on that cement block wall. It wasn't our yard, and nobody ever told us to leave. It was just a shady, cool place to get out of the sun and escape our homes.
We lived at Marjorie Street for about seven years, then we moved away.
We never spoke again, but your name would come up when discussing the old days. I know you had a lot of pain and struggles in your life, and I am so sorry for that.
I pray God brings you peace and a feeling of joy and love for eternity.
