Ronald Jerome Shuford, 66, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at home. He was born on August 10, 1950, the son of Eli Shuford and Ellen (Richardson) Shuford.
Ron graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. He worked at the VA for many years in the dietetics department.
Ron is survived by his six Daughters, Laronda Charonne (Charles) Ard, Crystal Shuford, Anntina Shuford, Tonya (Allen) Grevious-Smith, Carla (Barry) Johnson, and Ronnice (Greg) Smith; Son, Carl Grevious; grandchildren; Tonaiko Mabin, Davona Shuford-Jackson, Justin Cunningham, and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Brother, Leon Shuford; two Sisters, Ella (Andrew) Swift, Barbara Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Eli, Robert, David, Lawrence, Stella, and Annallee.
He loved fishing, playing baseball, and watching basketball. Ron loved to watch his old western films. He also enjoyed music, family gatherings, and doting on his grandchildren. He will be missed dearly.
