Carlee (Carter) Bilbrey, 84, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Laurels of Bedford. She was born on January 6, 1932, the daughter of Willard Carter and Verda (Johnson) Carter. Carlee married Dewey Bilbrey in 1949 and he preceded her in death on September 9, 2015.
Carlee is survived by her Son, Tim C. (Cheryl) Bilbrey of Battle Creek, MI; Daughters, Ramona (Jay) Crabill of Battle Creek, MI and Rena (John) Bennett of MO; Grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Rebecca, Janette, Jessica, Robert & Amy; 21 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Robbie Tackett of Delton, MI and Carol Howell of Crossville, TN. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Brothers, Hubert "Hubie" Johnson, Bud Carter, Gene Carter, Francis Carter, and R.D. Carter, Sisters, Joyce Ramsey, Margaret McCellan and Jo Ward.
Carlee attended Timothy Tennessee School and was a homemaker for most of her life. Carlee enjoyed cooking, singing, reading, crocheting, blue grass music, westerns on tv and loved spending time with her family & friends. She was President of GIVS in Battle Creek for several years.
