William "Jim" James Slaughter, 71, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at his home. He was born on March 28, 1945, the son of William Duane Slaughter and Ida Rebecca (Armstrong) Slaughter.
Jim was a 1963 graduate of Springfield High School and attended Argubrite Business College. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was the owner of the Vine Street Auto Body Shop.
Jim is survived by his Spouse of 3 years, Chad Osenbaugh of Battle Creek, MI; Brother, Dennis Bruce Slaughter of Battle Creek, MI; Sister, Diana Jennings of Jackson, MI; Step-Brother, Danny Slinker of Battle Creek, MI; 8 nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister, Sharon Wood.
Jim enjoyed NASCAR racing, vintage cars and was an avid sports fan.
