M.C. Hallums, 75, of Battle Creek, Michigan, was called home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at MediLodge of Marshall. He was born on November 16, 1941, the son of Hobbie Hallums and Eula (Williams) Hallums.
MC was a Brick Mason in South Carolina for many years before moving to Battle Creek.
MC is survived by the mother of his children, Marsha Knapp; three sons, Pete Hallums of Greenville, SC, Mack Hallums of Battle Creek, MI, and Justin Hyatt of Battle Creek, MI; four daughters, Rhonda Hallums of Greenville, SC, Stantonia Hallums of Los Angeles, CA, Machelle Edwards of Battle Creek, MI, and Lashanda Williams of Battle Creek, MI; Numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; two sisters, Maybelle Hallums of Greenville, SC, and Grace (Calvin) Jenkins of Greenville, SC; two Sister-in-laws, Mable Hallums of Greenville, SC, and Liz Eley. He was preceded in death by his Father, Hobbie Hallums, Mother, Eula Hallums, and Son, Adam Hyatt.
MC enjoyed fixing cars, golfing, watching westerns on TV, music, and playing cards with friends. He loved to help his friends and family and his kind spirit will be missed by all the lives he touched.
