Obituary for Jack Lewis MacDonald

Jack Lewis  MacDonald
Jack Lewis MacDonald, 87 of Ballwin, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27th. He was born on May 1st, 1930 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Erma and James G. MacDonald.
Jack graduated Battle Creek High School in 1948 and attended Kellogg Community College and Western Michigan University. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. 5th Army in 1953. Jack worked for the Ralston Purina Company in Battle Creek and Saint Louis, Missouri for 39 years until his retirement.
Jack is survived by his son, David (Beth) MacDonald; daughter Julie DuFour, Grandchildren Chelsea MacDonald, Anna Marie MacDonald, Brooks Lamson, Nicholas Lamson. Great-Grandchildren, Harper Gorordo, Jackson Gorordo. Sister-in-Law Pat MacDonald, Niece Linda McIlroy, Nephews Steve MacDonald and Brian MacDonald.
He was preceded in death by his wife Esther MacDonald (nee Lehman), His parents and his brothers James MacDonald and Harvey MacDonald.
Jack was active at his local Church in Ballwin, St. Mark Presbyterian Church. He also served in many functions at the Circle of Concern Food Pantry including Board Member for 7 years, Board President for 2 years and Head of the Scholarship Committee for 6 years.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Concern Food Pantry, Valley Park, Missouri.
