Checking Up
Back in the mid-90s, Returning home from 2nd shift work on a warm summer night, I decided to drive thru downtown Battle Creek when a 16 y/o ran a red light & slammed into the driver side of my car. I got to drive the car home (shouldve went to the hospital). While sitting on the front porch of my home picking out the glass from my head, a Honda Goldwing stopped. It was Trummy. He heard about the accident over the radio and wanted to be sure I was ok.
I dont know a soul who didn't like him.
Thank you for being a co-worker and a friend. Your laughter was infectious and your personality was welcoming to everyone you encountered. Never did I think this day would come. There is a heaven, even though God has you, Id like to think we had the best of you.
You were and still are loved Trummy.
